As always don't need to say anything, you are the man! I have an 85mm f/1.8 which I started using indoors last year. All my local gyms in one school district have LED lighting now. What a difference they make. I can now use my 80-200mm f/2.8 and shoot well. I want to shoot some volleyball and gymnastics. The times are wrong a lot of times as I have to take and pickup grandson from practice most of time. Parents both work so times conflict most of the time. Hopefully basketball will actually start (Covid ?) I haven't shot in the LED lighting for basketball. I love my 85mm, have always wanted a 50mm though. You always hear you have to have a nifty 50 in your arsenal of lenses. How close were you shooting under the goal? Will let you go, breakfast. Keep posting you are the best. Thanks
Tom

I like my 85 and 50mm. I am usually sitting under the basket for some of my shots. Dangerous yes, but I am willing to take a chance. I have been hit a few times but nothing bad. Led lighting is the best, I can shoot at 1/1000 and 2.2 usually better than 1/500.
Basketball is a tough sport to shoot, they move so damn fast these kids. I also use my 70-200 2,8 for shots from under the basket to half court. That's as far as I like to shoot, for clarity and filling the frame. Sometimes before the virus I will sit to the right of the scores table to get both sides of the court.
