Lame (brain) hobby photog aquired a GF3 for travel. Regular equip is D750. Wish to install new memory chip, and cannot find formating directions in manual. I really scoured the manual, but find no mention, in the menu, of how-to. Can you point me in the right direction. Merci.

The GF-3 is an older (2011) camera, so information is somewhat limited. I did a Google search and came up with this. That’s all I could find.

Wingpilot....Many thanks for going the "extra mile" for me. The Pano web site has TMI going back to 2010. Can't extract the direct info. I won't quit... I'll find the "effer" in there somewhere. Again...thank you

I don’t know how your camera’s menu us set up, but if it’s anything like the menu in the Lumix ZS60 I had, the “Format” command should be located in the menu’s “settings” section somewhere.

Wingpilot.....I licked the format dilema by loading a new 128GB(way too much capacity, but it's only $$)SDXC SanDisk into my FZ200 Lumix and formatting.
Then I proceeded to download pix of todays Russia Formula1 race into several venues....They all landed correctly. Proves that it's all in the details. Stick with it and screw the naysayers. Be safe and masked.......Peter

I’m glad that worked. I didn’t you could format in one camera and have it work in another one. Live and learn.

Remember...I went from one Lumix FZ200 to another Lumix GF3C, and figured that the op syts would mirror each other (with an "Amen"). Just a horseshoe where the sun doesn't shine! Peter

I guess so. I just thought the two were far enough apart that maybe they were different enough that the formatting programing might be different. But! Bonanza! as they say. So go shoot and see how that camera does. Maybe post a pic or two. Cheers.
