This Loop drive is 38 miles one way. It is a beautiful drive over a 9,000 ft. pass so I did it both ways for different views of the terrific scenery. The muzzle loading deer and elk season is on so there were quite a few hunt camps and hunters out. Quaking Aspen were just starting to turn so not much yellow and gold colors but lots of red and orange colors from maples and oaks.

Excellent, Jim! I just did Alpine Loop and the colors are about the same. I may check the Cottonwoods next week.
