We've had a heavy plankton bloom once again around Palos Verdes. I had five feet of murky visibility this week. Last month, I resorted to diving under my boat in the marina. Even with two feet of visibility, I managed to get lucky a few times.

I volunteered at the National Zoo's Invertebrate Exhibit in the late 1980's; that's the closest I've been to most ocean critters, except the one time I saw a tiny octopus in a tide pool in Maine

Great pics!! Diving a lot here in the Florida Keys with way better visibility but no camera as I’m teaching.
