All wonderful examples. I have been wanting to visit the Guadalupe Mountains. It kept coming up when I researched for our Big Bend NP trip.

GUMO is a great place for the hiker and some places are accessible by car, but just a few. Most of the grandeur is several miles off-road. I have hiked every inch of trails in the park and a lot of off trail as well, so if you have questions, feel free to ask. I also posted an interesting tribute you may not have seen about a site in the park:

I don't say "whoa" often, but this one did it for me.

Hello All:

Sometimes you may be taking a landscape, portrait or city scene and find that the actions of the clouds or the shadows they cast have made the shot even better with more drama or emotional impact.
Let's share those!

Please download for best color.

Sally

Thanks for stepping up and hosting, Sakitson. Very nice images to start us off. I once had a sales manager that always said, "If you are taking a picture of a finished project for the sales brochures, be sure there are nice white puffy clouds in the sky!" So according to him you are right they are a great enhancement for your image.

I found some and hope they haven't been posted before.

Give me land, lots of land with some puffy clouds above. Don’t fence me in!

Great shot. Looks like a painting you would see in church with the brilliance of heaven shining down on all.
