Oh yea. One other thing. Thanks for the shot information. I know some people say we don't need all that but I love it when someone post all the information and what equipment they were using at the time. Thanks

Tom

Thank you for your feedback Tom... much appreciated!

Keep in mind that photography while not a "profession" i.e. not licensed and no academic credentials required. It is indeed both a "Craft" and an "Art". Mastering one's kit is the "Craft" aspect, while developing an outstanding visual statement is the "Art" component. To this end I believe we all should post relevant technical data. Although some may feel that this may take away from the visual impact of posted imagery, I'm certain not in that camp.

Yes Tom the League is attempting to restart match play albeit Montgomery County, Maryland just upgraded their Covid19 policy (08-24-2020)... Masks are required for ALL persons in public now... See Link Below
https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/exec/Resources/Files/orders/098-20.pdf

The League is trying to figure out how best to proceed here... Haven't heard back yet.

btw, I'm firmly committed to Social Distancing and wearing a mask while in public. My colleague and best friend is an ICU Nurse in her hospital's Covid19 Ward. Needless to say it is a horrific challenge and a terrible way to die not being able to see one's family members in their final hours.

Please stay safe, k? Thanks!

I'm blessed to be able to shoot at the Maryland SoccerPlex which has been the location of the Washington Spirit’s training facilities since the National Women's Soccer League play began in 2013. The Spirit will continue to train at the Maryland SoccerPlex through the 2020 season. However the autumn 2020 season's games will be played at Segra Field (closed venue) in Leesburg, Virginia owing to Covid19 policies.

Thanks again and please stay safe,,,

Thank you for your continued support and very kind words Don they are truly appreciated...
I especially enjoy your "Street" photography Don... Your recent posts in "Street" are so compellingly poignant...

Glad you "Get" how serious covid19 still is... Sadly an increasing number of colleges and universities have recently had to quarantine entire dormitories and fraternity & sorority houses... Even cancelling in person classes because America's youth are naive to how deadly this virus actually is. Thus virtually ending hopes for the return of collegiate sports this autumn.

Another tragic event this week is AstraZeneca pausing its trials for the coronavirus vaccine developed by the University of Oxford. AstraZeneca is not being totally transparent about the fact that their vaccine has potentially caused a serious spinal inflammatory disorder called transverse myelitis reaction in one of the volunteers. Important Note: This was only learned in a statement AstraZeneca CEO Pascal Soriot, made during a private conference call with investors on Wednesday morning. Seems that AstraZeneca is more concerned about the effect this deadly disorder on it's stock market value... Good old American ethics... enough said.

Here is AstraZeneca's official statement which makes no mention of how serious transverse myelitis actually is.
https://www.astrazeneca.com/media-centre/press-releases/2020/statement-on-astrazeneca-oxford-sars-cov-2-vaccine-azd1222-covid-19-vaccine-trials-temporary-pause.html

So how serious is transverse myelitis?
From the National Institutes of Health (NIH): What is the prognosis? Most people with transverse myelitis have at least partial recovery, with most recovery taking place within the first 3 months after the attack. For some people, recovery may continue for up to 2 years (and in some cases, longer).

BTW: AstraZeneca also has not publicly confirmed that this is the second time its covid19 vaccine trials have been stopped to investigate health events among participants.

From Bobby Dylan: "Lookout Kid, they keep it all hid..."

However the glass is half full... there currently are literally dozens of covid19 vaccines under trial... One will most likely succeed... it is just a matter of time. So please everyone stay safe until covid19 is under control...
