I'm quite convinced it would like me to go away till I dangle a meal in front of it.........once feeding it ignores me completely and hesitantly allows being relocated so I can put a lens on it

Great set. I watched one devour a Stink Beetle once. It was a horrific death. I felt bad for the beetle but nature can be rough. Gary

Head first, it always seems to be that way. I would rather they ate spiders and not bees. Great shooting Bob. The face of the Mantis is very expressive.

Excellent series as well as excellent documentation. I imagine with an estimated 10-quintillion living insects on earth at any time there is bound to be some winners and some losers in the battle of life.
