I'm quite convinced it would like me to go away till I dangle a meal in front of it.........once feeding it ignores me completely and hesitantly allows being relocated so I can put a lens on it

Great set. I watched one devour a Stink Beetle once. It was a horrific death. I felt bad for the beetle but nature can be rough. Gary

Thanks! I've found that nature is often a cruel taskmaster, it truly is a bug eat bug world I inhabit regularly

Head first, it always seems to be that way. I would rather they ate spiders and not bees. Great shooting Bob. The face of the Mantis is very expressive.
