So I guess these will be a bit like lacewing larvae (?) wandering to nab tiny prey. I don't remember you showing adult owl flies before though, but they are there!

When I saw those pincers I immediately saw the similarity to those of Lacewing larva as Mark did. I hope you get shots of the aduts in the fullness of time. A good find.

A great job on these. I have no internet service this morning for my tablet or laptop and can view only on the small phone screen which is a bummer.

thanks guys,i have shot the adults a few times but i dont see them often.i didnt know what to do with these so i put them back where i found them

Tinusbum, I was wrong about the internet service as I do have it on the laptop and on a bigger screen these look even more impressive.
