Turkey Vulture Enjoying a Beautiful Oregon day.
A pair of Turkey Vultures were cruising low among my neighborhood trees & came right over me on this beautiful Oregon morning! I am temporarily using my granddaughters' Canon Rebel T6 while my T1 is repaired or replaced. Bless her heart! I learned on this camera what Auto focus Servo could do for me on these & other Birds in flight! Also I am going for 1/4000 sec SS for better sharpness while handheld. I used the 50-250mm kit lens for this @ around 168mm then cropped it & l lightened it a bit. LOL...despite what it first looks like that Red "eye" is really his nostril opening not his eye!
Probably the best shot of a bird in flight so far up in the air in free flight...
The light on the wings is really nice in the first shot! Well done.

Thank you! They were chasing each other & doing some fast twists & turns around the trees, Very acrobatic like they were playing & really having fun! I had no idea they could or would move so fast! Same picture in both shots I just brightened the first one & cropped a bit. Super nice to hear from you!
