Here's a little bit of everything ranging from close-ups to landscapes. All were shot on an iPhone 8, and the only processing was some minor tweaking using either the native Photos app or Camera+. I continue to be amazed by the iPhone cameras, especially considering mine is a few generations old and not even a multi-lens system like the newer models.

The best camera, so the saying goes, is the one you have with you. Most of us have phones with cameras which is now another niche for imaging with more sophisticated cameras with each new model. Apps are many. For this challenge, please post only photos taken with your phone and let us know what apps you use on your phone. All editing, for this challenge, should be done on your phone. For my iPhone 8S, my apps are: Lightroom, Fused, Pixlr, BeFunky,Focus and Snapseed. Many of these apps are available for other platforms. All but Lightroom are free, although some are now limiting free use with most tools in "pro" versions which = $$.

These were taken in portrait mode, and processed in "Focus" (which lets me change aperture and add bokeh), BeFunky and Snapseed. Unfortunately, I didn't write down which program.

The final pic is my favorite, as it captures a personal moment.

I have a cheap smart phone, my first. It doesn't take great photos but I use it when I go on long bike rides.

p.1 Thanks, Richard. Your wife looks settled in and well cared for. It must be a worry these days. I'm not liking this stage of life... I hear the iPhone 11 is super. Any image I've seen from them has been good.

THanks very much.

You are well above the "standard I phone photographer" level. Great work.

Physically moved my Samsung Note 9 downward while taking pic, then added grunge in Photshop Express phone app.

Much appreciated. It is nice that the phone cameras have evolved so much, as it makes it easier to always have a camera with you.
