Has anyone used this product and is it worth looking into? It's on sale, I think for $49.

I have it, but a previous version... version 4 or 5, I think. I had a restaurant client I did photos for and a 45' mural. I used Filter Forge to stylize the mural elements for effect. The client paid for the program as part of my fee. It has some interesting applications, but I use it so rarely, I never even think of upgrading. If you do a lot of compositing or special effects, it may be worth looking into.

I looked real close at it and I think I'm gonna pass. I wouldn't have much use.

I tried an evaluation of Filter Forge sometime back. I liked the program and the downloadable filters were endless, but for the full version I could not justify the cost.

If the full version is on sale for 50.00 I would jump on it, but I will check and suspect the 50.00 is for the limited version.

I have had it for several years. Just updated to Filter Forge 9. I like to to be a bit creative with some images.
Here are a few images.

If he posted the link, it would be sent to No Man's Land - "Links." You have to wait a while before posting a link - or use Google.

Very nice abstracts, Roni! These examples make me want to get the application.

Thanks so much!!!
I just did a new one. Found a 1948 Dodge on Eastern Long Island.
I used the polygon painting filter on this old beauty. The second image I used Bad Trip.
the last one is original.

It is definitely a handy tool to have available when you need to spike the punch a little.
