Spotted these 3 Passion Vine buds the other day... They will be opening soon. You may have to enlarge the image to see them. That said, I have yet to find any Fritillary caterpillars on any of the vines I have found. Image taken with my iPhone...

No Fritillaries on ours either, Scott, but I usually see the butterflies later in the year. Beautiful shot and looking forward to seeing the blooms!

I have a local friend and she says Frits are the most common in her yard.

I wish they were in ours. We have passion flower vines that grew and bloomed all winter but not one Fritillary yet!

Scott, you are 100% correct as requiring a DL or DDL to see them.
