While sitting, pondering my navel cavity, this question occured to me: If your rectum is your anus, is your mouth your inus? Only interested in medically sound, scientific repsonses, please!

I think it would be a valid question if it was called an outus.

It is perfectly natural for a photographer to explore all kinds of "apertures". . . .

a-, as a prefix kind of negates a word: Asymtomatic; Amoral; Agnostic...

So if the anus is where it comes out, where it goes in would be simply the nus.

Well shut my nus! Waaaaaaay too logical, DirtFarner! You are hereby fined by giving up your tp and sentenced to replacing same with dry corn cobs.

And let this be a warning to any other logical cogitators out there.

After we eat corn on the cob the chickens work over the cobs. They come out pretty soft unless you dry them too much.
