This literally leaves me speechless. As others noted, it doesn't exactly adhere to accepted scientific method but hey; anything involving spray ether and an open flame can't be all bad.

Kind of like why Myth Busters were so successful, they loved making thing catch fire or explode. This does give a good example of why and how masks work.

Obviously, this was intended as a humorous video, but it does show that a mask is very effective at keeping spit from flying.

It's funny how that happens. I just thought it was a funny video - not anything political or controversial. I seldom get my face that close to propane torches.
