Once upon a time, long, long ago I was photographing a lass at the beach. We took a break and during that brief pause this gal comes over, picked up my Black Cloth and says "Do me." She was pleasant-appearing so why not? She did this set of four poses and I recorded them. She handed back the cloth and left, never to be seen again. I have no clue about why, etc. Interesting images; first has been posted but here is the set.

The results were nice photographs, regardless. I have a number of those types of photos. "Oh, you're a photographer? Would you photograph me?".

Lucky you. I especially like #2. She looks a lot like your other models...what do they say..."birds of a feather"...

Beautiful set. I’ve got to bring a black cloth the next time I go to the beach.

Without the photographic proof, that sounded like a photographers fantasy.

Haven't heard a "Do me" since I don't remember when. Then again, it might have been in a dream.

I like the way you just give sideways looks at the face and almost never the eyes. Without the eyes always grabbing the center of attention the viewer is forced to look at the picture as a whole instead.

Very interesting perspective on the eyes as it relates to these great photos. Something to remember.

I am always surprised when someone (so far only female) comes up to me and ask that I take their picture. Always without asking for a copy... indeed not even leaving a name. It has happened five or six times and I have no explanation for it.

Now having said that, I was never lucky enough to be on the beach with an undressed nude beauty. Grrrrr. It has always been during my attempts at "street photography."

Ron: This was a "nude beach" situation. In general the photos I have posted were in that environment, even those that were obviously not at the beach. We'd shed our clothes and "do our thing" in a relaxed environment. An interesting kind of photo series is when I was photographing some of these women who were moms and her kids were with her. I would photograph Mom and frequently add the kids too. And some of the kids were stunners, even at eight years of age (very common age, for some reason)! But I just can't post those images. A few of the kids would want me to photograph them alone. They had seen how "the big girls" posed and so they wanted to do those same poses, on their own. Since Mom was maybe 15 feet away she would give snicker and give approval and kids and I would "do a shoot." Forty five years later I look back on Those Good Olde Days :-) - JimT

Now just imagine her on the beach with her camera and you walking up stark nekkid telling her "Do me." Uh-huh.

Nice set Jim. In more ways than one. I have noticed that almost, if not all, of your beach nudes the subject is not looking at the camera. Is this intentional, and if so, could you explain your reasoning behind it? I'm not being negative in any way. I just love probing into people's processes.
