The Hu!!!
No, not Roger, Keith, or Pete...
Since I'm only 65, some of y'all might not swing with this but some great music nonetheless. A Mongolian band with some traditional instruments, throat singing, rock.
Really awesome and mesmorizing at times. Hard rockers...wait for 'Black Thunder' and 'This Is The Mongol' at the end!!!
This was a Covid Concert since they got stuck in Australia while on tour. Hope there are those among y'all that enjoy. A nice change of pace!

Now, that was interesting.

Music from "out of the box." Very unique. Mahalo for sharing.
I have several cd's by Huun Huur Tu - same genre but more traditional and less rock. Saw them live maybe 25 years ago performing with Kronos Quartet at Stanford University. Really enjoyed both. Thanks for the link.
Not only completely new but completely fantastic! Never seen anything like it. Just proves that music is the one universal language. Thanks so much for sharing this!
They did a piece on one of the StarWars Jedi things, IIRC.
Good morning "drov",
Really / absolutely cool. I am 70 years old and the music of the 60's was what developed my lifelong love / addiction to all things musical. This led to a very nice career in that field. Recording / producing / performing. So I have a lifetime of material to compare Hu-Tu with and they are refreshing in so many ways although it is easy to see how they evolved based on past decades of reference material. They are great. Now I'll have to check iTunes Music to see if they have found their place there.
All the best to you and yours and stay safe during these "interesting" times,
Terry
Hey they're really good! A little too "heavy metal" for me but I can appreciate a talented group of musicians who are clearly good at what they do. I wonder how their Mongolian ancestors would react to this music?
In a similar vein, try the Icelandic group Sigur Ros. Just as with The Hu you can't understand the words but their skill and music speak for themselves.
Thanks everyone! Glad y'all enjoyed.

Nice find. They're on Spotify so I can add them to my play list. Thanks for posting, drobvit.

Very talented group! I think Trans Siberian Orchestra, Disturbed, and AC/DC met at the tower of Babel and came together to jam -- only we can't understand their language!
