Here is an oddity - mushrooms growing out of the bottom of one of my hanging potted ferns. The first shot was taken in the cool of the morning while the second one was taken later in the day after the temperature hit the low 90's.
Now that's interesting, Sue! Temp effect in particular!
This past week was a conglomeration of events....Youngest son Jonathan decided to take a bike hike from Campbell, Ca. to Lake Tahoe, Ca. 240 miles one way. We've been on line watching his progress (a bit nervously). He's the Apple guy with 5 children!! Well, he's on the last upward grind today...120 mi. or so..
He took this pix with no explanation????

Pg 1 - Nicely done, Bob. Besides my granddaughters,
my favorite things to capture are sunrises and sunsets,
and you done that quite well!
Thanks Tim glad you enjoyed. I think all the fires out west have added that bright orange/red cast to our sunrises and sunsets. This month they have been amazing.

Great portrait of the deer - the spread of the buck's emerging antlers make it look like he will end up with an impressive rack.
Thank you, actually he was the smaller of the 2 bucks that came into my yard. Here is the other one.
