Jesus often went away by himself to pray, or He went in the company of a couple of His followers. We are called to solitary prayer in many places in the Bible, and it seems like in these troubled times more prayer is definitely needed! Praise His glorious name, Amen!

A missionary friend of mine often says " Prayer? Has it come to that?" Why is prayer so often one of the last things we do? It should be first. Always. Pray without ceasing!
(oh yeah, nice pic!)

I saw a thought this morning that I love. Praying is actually taking part in what God is doing. Not sure why it struck me as profoundly as it did. Liked your photo and the verse.

Yes, you are right. As Dallas Willard said- "Prayer is talking with God about what we’re thinking and doing together; it is co-laboring with God to accomplish the good purposes of his kingdom."

Prayer is best when alone with God; but is mighty good when with others.
