Thank you Jorge for looking in again on the tour. I am happy you enjoy these pictures. There are relatively few roads to go over these mountains, most of the others are longer but better built. This is sort of the thrill road that really adds to the experience of Oman. The decision to drive this road was by our driver/guide alone, only he knew what the situation was. But all of us (only 4 passengers) were definitely "fevering" with him through this section in the mountains - he did an excellent job and we felt very safe.

I have very much enjoyed your series of pictures of Oman. I was the CENTCOM desk officer for Oman for a couple years back in the day and went to Oman a number of times during that tour. It's the best of the Middle East as far as I'm concerned. Your pictures are beautiful.
