The third picture indicates a Trash Line Spider. Cyclosa, except......
This looks like the genus Araneus. But they hide off the web with a 'telegraph' line to the hide.
They do not form a trash line.
Cyclosa produces a trash line and hang in the web, as shown in your photos. They also have a more teardrop shaped body.
So the upshot, I am stumped.
Anyone help?

Yep. I got the same species a year ago when I went to Arizona. They are orb weavers, but they keep junk in their webs too.

No, at least not yet. I think it's a new arrival.
I'll try to get some shots of the web structure.
Is a light misting of water with a spray bottle considered spider abuse?
