Hi,
Welcome a novice here but would be very interested in your Vietnam photo’s as I was there about the same time as you with the 173rd Airborne around the Coastal Highlands in II Corps.

Hello, I do remember the name Randy Kasnick but I don't think I knew him, 65 was a big class after all.
As I mentioned I've been reading from this forum for at least 4 years but never joined in until a couple of day ago. In Nam I worked in a photo lab as part of an aerial recon company, the 131st aviation company located at fubai near Hue. I had a safe job and never saw any war action, very lucky although the year before I was there which was 69-70 the base had been overrun on the tet offensive. The year I was there, nothing happened. The closest thing to action I saw was when a rocket was aimed at our base and landed in the field behind our company area, big boom but no damage. I will attach a photo I took of the crater the day after.
I grew up in the chicago area in a town called Wood Dale, attending Fenton HS in Bensenville. Graduated in 65, did some college time and 3 years army time and didn't move to St. Louis til 71 after my army time was up. Been here ever since. I had an adopted uncle who worked at Wagner electric for years before I got here and even heard of Wagner.
Thanks for the contact. Even though I probably took a lot of photos while I was in Viet Nam, I have very few still with me. Aside from the photo of the rocket explosion hole I already posted, I only have a few others showing the guys I worked with and a view of the guard lookout tower in the rear of the company area and thats about it. I don't know what happened to the rest.
Welcome to UHH Dan, glad you finally joined us.
