This is a Katydid that I found yesterday perched on the side of a home that we were viewing for our daughter. I've learned to always carry a container for specimens with me so I brought it home and staged it for a focus stacking session.
If you look closely at the upper screen left leg you will see "something" on it. That something is one of its ears that they use to sense sound. There is one on the other leg also although it is not visible in this view.
