Th Quèbec Bridge, dates back to 1917. In 1915 I believe. the center spand dropped into the river while installing it. Even today on a real low tides a few beams can be seen
I'm beginning with the most accessible bridge for me to get photos of: It of our own garden bridge built in Bird Alley by my husband. The kids next door love it and often ask to play in our yard and we love to watch them play on our bridge and it is often a favorite roosting spot for visiting Mourning Doves. Later today I will have pictures of stone arch bridges and covered bridges as well as the longest covered bridge in the world.
That's a cute bridge and I love to hear mourning doves coo.
The stone work is very beautiful there, Judy. Thank you for your comment. To take this picture we had just walked up the middle of the very low stream unrtil we came up to the arch. It was a lovely experience.

The bridge is just a fun, decorative addition to our yard which gives us a lot of pleasure.. I had hoped someday for a little covered bridge over our drainage brook with a nice seating area inside for reading, but I don't think it will happen as us folks are now old and have slowed down somewhat. Thank you for your comment.
