Camera straps

I see a lot of discussion about 'best'.
Since that is totally subjective, skip that.
With the coin shortage I am keeping my two cents to myself.
What works for me is a simple strap, all cotton.
A large button sewed to my walkaround jacket's shoulder prevents slipping.
I make the straps from martial arts belts.
There are pictures coming.
They will hold a lot. SS carabiners, sturdy split rings. 600 pound big gamefish swivels and gromets and sewing by a local sail shop. Sail Loft, 4th St., Annapolis. Hi Sean.
I am working on other designs. Oh, for a sewing machine again.
These cost about ten dollars each.
I have bag and camera straps and belts, one each color, for fashion sake. Red, white, and blue for The Forth.
The pictures.
Bill

Good idea to use Obi. Back when wide straps and heavy hardware were used fairly commonly, it was standard practice to use leather or part of a plastic film can between the hardware and the camera body to protect from cosmetic damage. If I were using one of your straps, I would do the same today.

I have also used shrink wrap, unshrunk. Not as bulky. Just never got to it with these.
Thanks for the reminder.
Next hardware store run shrink tube is on the list

If serious, $16 and I will pay shipping. Length wanted, a postal money and an address needed.
Have blue and white, or can order other color belts. Add no money, but two weeks, so about two to four weeks out.
Thanks for the response.
