Have a Canon M5 and when I download images in to Photos on my Mac as soon as I try to edit the images turn pink and cannot therefore adjust. JPEGs work fine. Any one have suggestions on how to resolve?

Download and install Canon's DPP v4 software to edit the RAW files. Investigate for the Canon 'support' page for this model whether there is an Apple-specific download that enables this RAW version for your Mac OS version.

I use Adobe's DNG converter on my M5 files as I have an old version of Photoshop. You could try that if there is a MAC version availabe.
