Some folks on this site answered some questions for me a couple of days ago. In appreciation, I will let you know that I finally located the comet, last night briefly before cloud cover, and again this morning, briefly before too much light. For two or three days I had searched the skies.......my thoughts right now are that it was beneath the horizon or I had too much haze or cloud cover at the horizon level. I do know now exactly where to look at both of my 'sites', now if the sky continues to be clear, the moon is waning, so all should be good, especially for increased evening viewing...........between 9 and 10 pm here in Tn.
Thanks to each of you who helped me with your comments. Here is my first attempt, and one night, unable to have a comet to shoot, playing around the garden/sky.
I checked several times throughout last night but didn't see it. I have a lot of light pollution in my area. I did however saw it about two weeks ago to the NW which has less light pollution in my area.
