So on joining the Hog, I thought I should share what I had leant as a beginner about the technical bits of capturing, editing and displaying panos - and I posted that guide here some time ago -

I was in the central west of NSW near a town called Orange last weekend with no pano equipment - so I tried out the in camera panorama setting on the new X-T4 and just turned through 180 deg as the shutter clicked.

And Fuji you do some pretty nice panos straight out the box without additional gear software etc - sure, each of these could be technically improved - but the point is simplicity got a couple of ok shots - see what you think!

best, Andrew

Hello, I like your panos. Can you tell me which direction you held you camera, portrait or landscape mode? Just curious, thanks. BTW did you ever hear of a tv series called"McLeod's Daughters", we love it. We're halfway thru season two.

Thanks popheizz - the Fuji x series lets you select direction of travel and up or down in pano mode - and the default is landscape from left to right and that's what I went with.

On McL daughters - they were big a while ago here, but I think they recently announced a followup or spin off movie - link is here -
