Back in the days of film I did many multi exposure shots
But work it a different way now with digital
Light trails or fireworks I set the camera for 30 second exposure
Then use the lens cap to cover the lens in between my shots

Another way I do it is to say photograph a single flower
then in Photoshop layer it as many times as I require
Depending on what I am trying to achieve
Like in this example

I created this multiple crow exposure a few years ago. If I can remember how I did it I will make a few more tomorrow.

Nice ones.

Very good start, Pat. Thanks for the challenge. If my Sony alpha 99 has an in camera multiple exposure within it's list of bells and whistles I haven't found it yet. I've worked a few layered shots and modified the ampacity of the top layers to partially view what's under it. Meanwhile I'm still looking for the in-camera stuff.

Well done.

Thank you, Pat...I appreciate your support!

Here are my first two "doubles" done in PSElements. I have to play around with the settings more next time I try one.

Hope you enjoy.
Tim

p.5 I really like that last one, Tim. Thanks for "taking the challenge"

I took this selfie and thought it would make an interesting photo.
I did this shot when I was living in Honolulu back in 1966. I was in the Air Force stationed at Hickam AFB from 1965 to 1968.
The camera is an Exakta VX-IIA with a 58mm Zeiss Biotar f2 lens. One of the nice things about the Exakta was it allowed you to take multiple exposures. And it had a self-timer on it but a lot of cameras had timers.
BTW, I want to thank you taxpayers for the three year paid vacation in Hawaii.

p.5 Yes! So many ways to interpret "multiple exposure" This is great.

A multiple exposure? Not really. This female White-tail Deer did the multiples.. all three fawns are hers! And apparently they all want to feed at the same time! Oh Deer, Mama, They will be grown soon! I just took these pictures about half an hour ago and I just had to post them for this challenge!

p.5 Isn't that sweet - and you're so clever.

p.6 All so different. Love the composition and "sweeping" lines in the green flower. I am having a tough time figuring out layers in photoshop! Have been using Pixelmator Pro for MAC.

This time it's fruit. I think there may have been too many elements as some seemed confusing to the eye.

I tried keeping in mind the tips from John, earlier. Made this this morning. I can't remember the blending modes...but I tried different ones plus color tweaks.
