Here in South Florida their color tends to be darker. This time of year they are not that easily seen and usually by the beginning of the Spring their youngs are active emitting a high pitch sound, I guess calling the mother who I am sure you know is super protective of the little ones.

Well done! It obviously is very conscious of the need to use the crosswalk. Traffic stops for creatures in the crosswalk.
