Yep... It was just as hot as it looks... 95 degres f., at 7:30 am, and soaring rapidly...

The footprints make it very interesting. Looks like something out of a movie with someone stranded in the desert. Don't know how you manage to stand that heat. Anything over 80 degrees F is too much for me.

Haven't you heard... It's a dry heat.. :lol:

Really though, the 45 minute hike out a couple of miles; took nearly 2 hours, plenty of stops and almost a quart of water to get back- It's not someting to do unprepared...

just absolutely breathtaking. I can almost see peter o'toole dancing in his robes as lawrence of arabia. I envy you my friend for all the scenic beauty you have in your area to shoot. And the cherry on the sundae is those killer blue skies. post more keep feeding my addiction.

OOH, this one is great--made by the narrow shadow in the mid-field.
