Welcome to the forum.

From a manual:

". When not in use, Paul C. Buff Flash Units should be stored in moderate climate conditions between 32ºF and 104ºF (0ºC and 40ºC), protected from water, dirt, sand and dust."

If you live in Florida, no.

Ohio is pretty far from Florida. But thanks for the offer.

Store them where you would store your son.

Strobes should not, let me repeat, NOT be stored in hot places. OK grasshopper. Also, do not store any of your equipment in a hot place, including your car, boat, or motorcycle.

Most electronic devices don't like high humidity, that is a bigger factor than temperature. Always should be less than 90% non-condensing, in other words, don't let water condense on the inside or it will be ruined for life.

The simple answer is NO! The electrolytic capacitors will swell and leak, effectively killing the power pack and I don't like repairing them. They run anywhere from 330 volts to 1,000 volts and carry enough juice to kill an elephant.
