On our way back to Belfast after visiting the Giant's Causeway, we drove through the small resort town of Portrush and passed the Royal Portrush Golf Club, the only golf club outside Great Britain which has hosted The Open Championship in 1951 and 2019. We then drove through some beautiful landscapes and actually saw a bit of blue sky! Please enjoy these images which were all taken through the tour bus windows with a Nikon D7500 and Nikkor 18-300 lens at 1/640 sec, f5.6, auto iso. Post processing with Luminar 4.

Thanks Mike. It’s like you have a front seat on the bus!

Thanks for commenting Barbara. I mostly look out the front window and wait for the breaks in the trees. It’s hard to miss in Ireland since the beautiful landscapes are pretty endless. I do take lots of photos which would have been impossible in the film days. The more you take the increased likelihood of keepers. If we drive through a pretty town and I’m sitting in the middle, I go to the rear window and shoot from there even if the window is honeycombed. This goes against all I’ve read by accomplished landscape photographers who work very hard and long to get that “perfect” shot.
