Been there, done that (before I knew better). Run away, very quickly.

Maybe we should ask Linda from Maine, or Natalie Maines...
Run for the hills, no, the mountains!
You can't run away fast enough....and don't look back!
My experience with this particular camera store seems to be typical they run a bait and switch program I bought a Nikon 200 to 500 mm for what I believe to be a good price next day I got a call asking me if I wanted tripod collar lens hood and both in caps and cloth bag that the lens would fit in behold it comes up to the regular price there is no savings if you wish to experience the bait and switch program by all means
Did you guys not notice all the advertising Abe's has done here on the hog lately. It followed me everywhere I went for a couple of weeks. I couldn't believe how it dogged me. Evidently they've decided to throw some money at their reputation here, or do some payback for the dissing. Looks like Admin here has a little conflict. It'd be interesting to know the motive behind Abe's effort here.

If you buy something from Abe's, you'd better hope it never breaks.

Do not pass go, do not spit into the wind, do not step on superman's cape, and don't mess around with Abes's.

You can count on an Abe's question about once a week.

So... while you were enjoying the wind and bugs in your face, and tightening bolts on that H-D, UHH consensus has lowered the bar for Abe's of Maine as far as it will go. I suggest you don't even consider them in your buying plans..... In the meantime, keep the tires on the road.

Come on man. No need to be snarky.

Based upon what I have read here only, I suggest you avoid this company. There is too much bad news about them, which makes me wonder why they are still open.
As for reputable businesses, be mindful that many are slow during the pandemic. I have my favorite but am eagerly awaiting their reopening.
Happy Shooting!
I'm surprised they are still in business.
