Rick, where are you? Oh well, try

I have managed to repair lots of these myself on various canon, pentax and sony DSLRs over the years.
Care and attention is key. If you decide to have a go yourself (I have never broken one myself and have a 100% sucess rate and I am no camera repair guy). You will need a torch or other light source hands free is a bonus, tweezers and a few other thin implements that might help with the straighening process. I would start by removing the battery.
Be very gentle and keep changing view as they look straight from one angle but can clearly see others are still bent when you turn it round. Take your time as you do not want them to snap off. I have spent 30-60 mins on these in the past.
Otherwise you might want to just let a repair shop tackle the job like you suggest.

I feel for you as I have been thru that - had to send my Canon 7D in to Canon for repair which was still covered by their warranty they had my camera back to me in a couple of days - fantastic service plus they also cleaned it for me. Apparently they will fix this problem once for free so you might want to check that option out. Good luck.
Thanks for info on Camera repair of pins.
Tried it but pin is bent and is hard to straighten,so have sent to Canon.
Thanks Taffy.. cockney !!
