We have been fortunate enough living in a small town, to not have to stay cooped up. While not really being able to go anywhere in particular, we have been able to go everywhere... The rain, and quite a bit of it, has kept us in quite a bit more than we wanted... The camera has been stuck taking the same old pictures, locally...and that has made it harder to find new material... but most of the time, you just have to look under your nose...
I must say, though, the painted rock was the biggest surprise, of all... Our neighbor Kelly is a school teacher, and she had her kids out in the sun keeping busy.. when we came up the driveway, 1st grader Harper HAD to come give Sue her rock !! So we proudly put it by the front stair to the porch, so everyone would see it !! I bet you wish you had one !!

Quite the job!! looks really inviting !! do you still actually use the stove, or just an accent piece? love it !!

Thanks - it's still a work in progress but one of these days it will be finished. The cookstove is part of our heating system (we have a wood burner in the living room as well) and is great to cook on. I use it more than the gas stove in the winter.

I am out and about everyday. I practice social distancing, I wear a mask when close to others and am careful around everyone. My job is considered essential.

It is good for you to give them the 15 minutes of fame which they are due. In the Winter I capture their antics, but they disappear as soon as I stop paying {feeding} them.
