From the Wedge Overlook, Utah. Not difficult to get to but you have to travel 22 miles of good, oiled dirt road to get there. Some "washboard" stretches but nothing rugged requiring 4x4 vehicles. From where these photos were taken, you are looking down 1000 feet to the San Rafael River.

Nice series! I personally enjoy a little more pop/saturation, but acknowledge it takes away from the natural scape.

Man oh man, Jim. These are my kinda shots. Hope Cany sees them. Looks like he may have some competition.

Good stuff, Jim.

A question, though: were there a lot of people/campers there?

Thank you greyfox...I never exhibit or sell my photos, they are just for my personal enjoyment and to share, otherwise I would probably add saturation, contrast and clarity. Like to keep them the way I viewed them!! Appreciate you looking and commenting!!

Thank you cameraf4...Cany and I both enjoy getting out and taking photos of this beautiful state and, truth be known, he is better at it than I am!!

Not too bad, Jim. We waited til after the long Memorial Day weekend and went this past Tuesday. There were a few campers on the top at Wedge Overlook and several OHV camp groups down along Buckhorn valley and wash. The campgrounds at Swinging Bridge had a few campers. All-in-all, not too bad but I would only go midweek. It was kinda now or never for us as I wanted to beat the heat!!
