Possibly the most difficult bird yet (for me at least) to get a quality BIF shot. Might be easier if they had a nesting site nearby.
These birds are erratic and unpredictable in flight while feeding. Luckily, one perched on my neighbor's boat antenna and the other came to investigate. All tightly cropped except for the last.

Congratulations on accomplishing something I have tried and failed at on three different occasions! I haven't given up on the idea though. As the movie line goes: "I'll be back"!

They are all perfect. How do you control the focus? I get so many of my photographs out of focus. I use a Nikon D750 and am still learning.

Very well done. I too have tried to get acceptable shots of these elusive critters but so far no luck. They are too quick for this old man! So far!
