Backyard Rainbow

Two evenings ago, my wife says - hey look at this rainbow.
After a quick glance, I couldn't get my camera fast enough.
Put on a CPL.
Now reading article that states CPL should not be used for photographing rainbows.
Now, i'll be awaiting another rainbow for a comparison shot.
Figures - first time I've used that filter . . .
But I think shot came out pretty nice.
Loving my new backyard in Land O Lakes, FL . . .

Not only is the PL bad for the rainbow, it’s also useless for the blue sky in the same scene. WHERE is the sun in EVERY rainbow scene ? And what sun angle works with a PL ?

Uneven recording of the sky, due to the use of a Polar' Filter, WA lens. Polar filter does not improve any picture of a Rainbow. Law of Physics. I don't make the Laws, just abide by them.
