Opened in LR, exported from PS as a jpg with no processing done. Does anyone know what is causing the blue corona around the left Raven's head.

D7200, ISO 400, 1/500 Nikkor 70-300@270mm f10

Curmudgeon, it's actually around both but more pronounced with the one on the left. It looks like a bit of chromatic aberration to me.

Another vote for CA, but it’s not bad - I’ve seen much worse.

I am going to guess it the difference between black which has little or no frequency and blue which is up high on the visible light scale. The higher frequency of the blue is bending less as it passes thru the lens. I will watch as I am sure any mistakes I made will be pointed out, looking forward to hearing them.

LR Classic has lens correction adjustments that include purple fringing.

I thought kymarto's description in AzPicLady's topic was interesting:

CA is always colored. Lateral CA happens towards the sides of the image and runs from orange to blue, and longitudinal CA happens before and behind the focal plane and runs magenta to green.

You might want to browse the entire thread as there are other good conversations and links:

The image has lost its EXIF data. If you still have the original, import it directly into Lr and use the profile corrections in the Lens Corrections> Profile section. Tick both boxes.

Yup. Curmudgeon, I converted the jpg to tiff so I could open it in Adobe Camera Raw. In the lens correction tab, I selected "manual" and increased the purple slider until the blue fringe was removed. Then saved it as a jpg. A bit more work would be needed to restore the blue sky without having the "halo" reappear.
