The Bloody Lane, Antietam
No picture that I can find.
Color me puzzled. Thought I followed the instructions.
Sometimes you have to be patient and wait two maybe three minutes.
Terrific shot.
The road is said to be haunted. Did you see anything or smell any gun smoke?

Very nice. Did you ever walk alone the route of Pickett's Charge on a moon lit night? If you don't believe in ghosts you will after that.
Picture is there now. Veterans' Day, 2017
I live close to Chattanooga National Park and Cemetery, The park would only let scout troops camp there. One of the big events was to take the kids hiking after dark and tell stories of 'old green eyes". Of course it was all for fun but, even so, you get a very nostalgic feeling and an awareness that you are on "Holy Ground". I always played up the sound of horses and cannon fire. It was a good experience for the kids and adults alike.
No ghosts, but a very uneasy quiet.

You walked to Little Roundtop and back alone and no ghosts? Uneasy quiet I understand for sure.
