I had one of these eclose today (the 2nd to do so). That makes one Luna Moth, 10-IO moths, one Waved Sphinx Moth and of course two Virginia Tiger Moths... I'm still expecting some other mother to eclose though...

I had a "Senior Moment"... This is actually a Salt Marsh Moth (Estigmene acrea). I should have known better as that was the cats in the container were...

Hey, I saw a small butterfly on my morning walk with my dog. Of course I always see things when I have no camera or containers do don’t see a blessed thing when I do. This was a small (hairstreak sized) black butterfly.
