Came across these two very tiny guys in equally tiny flower and grass blade. D810 AF Micro Nikkor 105 2.8D
Rather liked the tiny weed flower, so an extra without arachnid.

I am a spider gal (owned a couple of tarantulas back in the day ), so I would be delighted to spot one of these cuties. Thanks for posting!

Nice catch -- it's a crab spider.

Amazing what can be seen from a single picture taken at random. All very nice shots. Here's a shot of a Crape Myrtle tree in full bloom and had hundreds of bees on it buzzing loudly. In my shot it was hard not to get a bee or two in the picture! Oh and to note, when you walked by the tree and heard all the bees, it's alarming ... but no one has ever been stung by the tree's bees. I guess they were very content to find such a treasure of flowers.

Those are very pretty flowers. If you are interested, that spider is a Flower Crab Spider, Misumena vatia. These are very beautiful and special in that they can change colour within limits to the flower they are hunting on. Perhaps your spider on the yellow flower is in the process of changing, it is not a fast process.

Linda, I use to manage a funeral home in a small NC town. They had a very small pet store. I would go in and take out their collection of tarantula (3) and exercise them. Customers were awed and some very skittish. They make great pets.

Thank you for your comment and information on the spider. I have seen quite a few of these, but usually in the color scheme seen here, or a stronger yellow rather than the white. Will have to keep a lookout and see what else I might have missed.

Just for you Linda.

6meg fujifilm bridgie... available on "fleabay" for about $50.
