The weather report was wrong again this morning. It was supposed to start snowing at 5:00 AM. Instead it cited until about 7:00. But it IS snowing. That much is plain to see.

Yes sir I may just need them. I don't wear wool well as it itches the daylights out of me. I do have plenty of other freezing weather clothes though. It is supposed to last only today and then be in the 60's tomorrow. As you know snow doesn't last well in the 60's, Fahreheit of course.

Thanks for the comment,

Dennis

Yes it sure does. I have lived in snow just about all my life from upstate NY, CT, AK, WA and CO to name a couple. Nothing new and still nice to look at. Thanks for commenting.

Thanks for the comment. I have to mention though that given a choice of living anywhere on the East Coast and Western states such as Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and Montana, I would pick those states over the crowded crime ridden states in the East. No offense intended. It is just a fact.

I woke up this morning and just as I thought, the snow is all gone and the temperature should be up to 60 degrees today. It was beautiful while it lasted. My only problem now is I have no excuse not to work in the yard clearing weeds. Darn.

Thanks again all for your comments,

Dennis

None taken. Took a long time for an old country-boy like me to feel comfortable.

I was born in Leadville, CO, and I’ve seen measurable snow there in every month of the year.

Yes of course we do. This year it is predicted for August 24th.

When I lived for years in Colorado it was pretty much the same. I can remember living at 7000 feet and getting two feet of snow just about this time of year in the Canon City area. Of course the very next day and following week the temperatures were up in the 70's and people were golfing, rafting, fishing and so on. Of course snow doesn't last long at 70 degrees.

Have a great weekend,

Dennis
