WTB ENLARGER, POSSIBLY OTHER DARKROOM EQUIPMENT

OK. Regression? Nostalgia? Whatever. I want to get back in the darkroom, but all my stuff is gone, so I need everything. Enlarger first. Probably 35mm will do, but I do have a medium format camera, so I wouldn’t reject that size as long as both negative carriers and lenses are included. I know shipping is an issue, but there is always a solution. Not to big. It won’t be in a permanent darkroom. I live in northern Wisconsin, but trips to Chicago are regular, or were until Covid-19. So any suggestions? And other essential gear—an easel, trays, developing tanks, etc. Thanks.

I have a Besslar, good for 35 and 120, and, perhaps more interesting, and old Federal that was my father's. I'm in South Carolina now and the equipment is stored in Connecticut. Sure to have other accessories--tanks trays, easels. I've held on to them with the same thought, but I would like them to go to a good home. I'm sure you tried eBay, there must be plenty of these things around gathering dust. Let me know if you have any interest.

I have a Durst M606 and it is like new. I think it was the best small format machine ever made. Why? Because it has a glass negative carrier with adjustable cropping blades. The glass carrier is necessary to keep the negative flat so your prints are sharp and in focus. The negative carrier takes up to 6x6 (120) without any adapters for smaller sizes. I used the popular Besslar and there is no comparison in quality. Durst was far superior. The enlarger is ready to ship. If you are interested, pm me.

I just gave away enough equipment to set up 5 complete dark rooms. I kept my 35mm Leitz which was my first. Man do I have a lot of room now. Dark rooms are being given away all the time

On Craigslist here in Pueblo, Colorado (photo) someone is selling all darkroom, equipment for $50.00. I am cleaning out a legal newspaper office and I have saved his entire darkroom from the Copy Camera to the unused films. He had two enlargers, two darkrooms.

Hello, are you still looking for an enlarger? I have two. A Beseler 23C II and a Beseler Dichro 67S2. Both have lenses. Not sure about holders. Located in CA. Scott
