#3 has a lot going on! They are all "WONDERFUL PHOTOS"! I just keep coming back to #3 because of the pup looking up at "Dad", and then Dad seems to be looking to the future or the next thing. (I guess a little redundant)

That's how I see it. Just my thoughts. But they are all so great, its hard to choose, and I love them all.

If you can, I would like to know:

1) Were these shots taken in the wild? (Sorry if I missed something in past posts}
2) How far away was your subject?
3) What was the camera/lens used (Again, sorry if this something I missed)

Thank,

Boone.

Maybe the best series I have seen on this site. I don't know how you got that close to those animals, got those poses and got the light to be that perfect. Amazing. The type of photo that literally inspired me to stop whatever I am doing and grab my camera and go shoot.

Just wondering, where us the mother ?

I wish I knew. The den is very near a fairly busy road and not too far from a highway. In fact a couple of weeks before I took these we were on the highway and a fox ran across right in front of us in the area of the den. I'm hoping it was not her and she is ok. But I'm a bit concerned as I have been out 4 times and have not seen her...

Hi Boone,

Yes they are in the wild. They are however near a road, not good for them as I have not seen mom and I just hope she is alive and ok.
They were anywhere from 20-60 or so feet away. They are somewhat used to cars, I was in my car shooting with a bean bag.
Taken with my Canon 5D MIV and 150-600 Tamron. However, one is with the Canon100-400II and 1.4III. I also have a 90D which if you look at all the posts, I was switching the lens around on both cameras, so there is a mixture in all the posts. I'm trying to learn the 90D. Not super impressed.
Glad you like the photos, more to come!
