The attached was taken of sun spots through a microscope (not a telescope) a little over 60 years ago... when I approached my Grade 6 teacher to find out if there were magnetic lines in the sun he said it wasn't possible. Looked like magnetic flux lines to me... Camera was likely a Brownie Hawkeye... The 'specs' are likely dirt particles on the microscope lens.
