I used a lot of "soft focus" filters back in the day. If i would have had the for sight 20 to 25 years ago to have known about computers, digital photography, and post processing I probably would have shot for sharpness.. It's on the negative , can't sharpen it.

Just a little white balance and minor other tweaks. The original sort of pulled me in, I like the "nostalgic" softness and the beautiful model. The image just screamed 70's/80's glamour shot, which I found compelling, so I played around with it. Take this today with a 42MB sensor and a $1500 tack sharp lens and it may be technically superior, but I am not sure it would have the same emotional response (at least from me). And personally I always pick emotional over technical.

Thank for your interest in my photograph and taking your time to fiddle with it. This was taken with a Mamiya C330 Twin Lens Reflex Camera and a corresponding Mamiya 130 mm lens .
