Thanks. It is, 6000 acres. You cannot see any of your neigbours, although you can hear them uising a chainsaw.

Not the greatest photo, majorly cropped for detail. The other day I looked up while in my backyard and thousands of feet up where commercial airliners fly I saw something weird. It looked like two planes on top of each other. It wasn’t until I edited the photo that I saw it was a plane refueling another, pretty rare and cool.
OMGosh, Rod! That is an incredible image and wonderfully shared! Probably like most people, I've never seen anything like that!

Here's a couple of my favorites and I'm really missing taking them on the road due to this pandemic.
Pg 2 - Looks like a very comfortable ride, BurghByrd. My brother had a '60 something Triumph 650 back in the day, and when he went into the Navy, he asked me to keep it running...lol. Man, that thing could really get up and go.

In November 2019, the Union Pacific Big Boy stopped at Kansas City's Union Station during its western continental tour.
Pg 2 - I was hoping someone had a least an image or two of some trains, Rick, so thank you!
We took two of our granddaughters to ride on the Strasburg Railroad, which they really enjoyed, but I can't find the pictures anywhere...

[quote=LeeinNC][quote=Rolk]Welcome to the "Transportation" Challenge. Feel free to include images of your favorite ways to go from one place to another, or images of how you'd like to go from one place to another.
Just a couple reminders: please, keep it "family friendly," and while this falls under the "Photo Contests, Challenges, Periodicals," the only prize is knowing you contributed something that other members might enjoy. Also, unless someone specifically asks for advice on how to improve their image, please refrain from providing critique. There is another section on UHH for just that, but this is not that place. This is the place where we just kick back and have fun.
Hope you enjoy.
