A Black and White Tree

I took this photo yesterday with my Nikon D800 and SB900 Speedlight. It is a plum tree in my back yard. I somewhat like it but am curious as to how others, that would be you, like it. I am thick skinned and can handle whatever.

Thank you for honest comments,

Dennis

Certainly has possibilities. Personally not over keen on whatever type of conversion to mono you have done. Seems to have lost detail along the way. I would experiment with different conversions to B/W and see what you get

Thanks for taking a look. It is from the Photos section of my MacBook Pro. I will play with it some.

I agree. Try moving the blue slider around and see what happens.

I have no blue slider but I appreciate you taking a look and commenting.

There is potential in my humble opinion, but I think you should try and pull more texture out from the tree. Also don't know if you used the flash on camera but sometimes an oblique angle on the light source can make small detail and contours stand out a bit more.

Thanks for your comments. I did use flash mounted up and to the left of the camera. I will take another look at it in a few days. Honestly I am not too happy with it and that seems to be the general consensus of members here as well as personal friends.
