The project was to have a round drop of water in mid-air with the reflection of the flower. Used a tooth pick to drop water on top of the leaf so that if would run to the edge. Trying to anticipate when the drop will fall was a real challenge.

Thanks for stopping by for a look. Comments & critique are always welcome.

Thanks Sippy. This was really stretching my insanity to the limits
I really admire an image that is truly a "moment in time" that quickly disappears and is no more. Nicely done!
Steve,
This is downright impressive ... you've got motion, color, stop-action, and focus. Wonderful feats, all.
Please do not take this next comment as anything other than an example of the way that all photographers see things differently in life. If this were my own image, I would be tempted to straighten the line between the leaf and the drop so that it was truly vertical. One could either tilt the whole image, OR, create a selection around the drop and do an Edit>Transform>Rotate (down and to the right). Then the laws of Gravity would be respected in all their natural glory, and the image would still be downright beautiful.
Bob sends ...... Keep smiling!

Thanks Bob.
I always learn something from comments, especially when there are suggestions along with. Didn't even notice the vertical of off balance. I'm still looking for that round mid-air droplet.
Be safe & Thanks

I didn't notice it until Bob mentioned it, then I couldn't NOT see it!!
Yes, the adjusted image is superior.
Bob's and Tommy's comment were right on the money for me too. Nice photograph from one who know the patients it takes to get a shot like this. Did you use straight water? Can you imagine before digital and all you had was film how many tossed pictures and money you would have spent to get a shot like this?

Thanks for your comment Jim. I also used some glycerin. NO! I can't imagine. Shooting rolls of 36, waiting a week (maybe) just to see that you just missed it. UURRRGGG!!! Do it again?
Working on soap bubbles, oil and a glass ball????????????
